National Tea Day 2026 Centennial Blend
We are proud to introduce The Empress Earl Grey, the official National Tea Day 2026 tribute blend, created in honour of what would have been Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s one hundredth year.
Inspired by her well known love of Earl Grey, enjoyed as a daily ritual, this blend is a gentle celebration of a timeless tradition. Designed to be shared and enjoyed by all, it invites a moment of pause, connection, and simple pleasure over a beautifully brewed cup of tea.
Conceived by National Tea Day founder Diaz Ayub, this blend has been thoughtfully developed over three years, with more than one hundred iterations explored to achieve its final, refined character.
At its heart is a harmonious fusion of Ceylon tea from Sri Lanka and rich Assam tea from the Brahmaputra region, layered with a touch of lightly smoky Da Hong Pao oolong from China. This is lifted with Italian bergamot, softened with delicate cornflowers, and finished with a subtle note of English rose.
The result is a beautifully balanced Earl Grey, rich yet smooth, with a gentle floral elegance.
Available now for pre order, to be dispatched on the 8th of June and delivered in time for the Queen’s official centennial celebrations on 13 June. Perfect for your home, your workplace, or a simple moment shared with others.
